The IR source is based on a blackbody emitter. Its main characteristics are: high emissivity (0.95), low power consumption and long lifetime (>10 years). The high modulation is due to the low thermal mass (up to 100 Hz). The IR source is therefore predestined for the NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) or photo-acoustic (PA) absorption spectroscopy. The standard product range consists of versions with protective cap or reflector, combined with either sapphire, CaF2 or BaF2 windows. Customers are supported by our engineering team, fast and straightforward, to define their customer specific designs. |
