Now there is a reason to celebrate: The lasersystems division of the swiss company Leister Process Technologies, global market leader in welding of plastics, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in October 2008. Leister is thus amongst the pioneers in laser transmission welding of plastics – a in the late 90ies of the past century still brand new technology.
Its decisive ability to innovate has been intensified over the past years and has et al. resulted in twice winning the renowned Swiss-Technology-Awards. The laser systems have advanced since and new welding concepts are constantly being developed.
Amongst others, the special optics for simultaneous and for radial welding provide for a cost-effective welding process, especially due to short process intervals. Many companies have acquired a differential advantage due to the application of the singular, patented concepts of Mask- and Globo-welding.
The latest developments will be presented at the FAKUMA from the 14. – 18.10.2008 in Friedrichshafen, Hall A4, Stand 4004 to the trade visitors and industry professionals.
The customer profits by the long standing experience of Leister in the application, development, production and distribution of laser welding systems. The laser systems of the NOVOLAS™ product line are technically mature and well proven. The support spans the whole process chain. With its application centres headquartered in Switzerland, its three branches in the U.S., China and Germany as well as its globally organized distributive and service network, Leister is close by its customers.
The constant growth also reflects in the new, spacious working environment: In the anniversary year 2008, the distribution, marketing, R&D and application departments have moved into the new operational building in Kaegiswil.
