Due to the pleasing growth during the past years and the creation of new employment opportunities in connection with this, the Swiss corporation LEISTER Process Technologies located in the Canton Obwalden requires new accommodation. All company areas in the Kägiswil and Sarnen locations are occupied and quite a few areas are already manufacturing in additional evening shifts. Therefore, the corporation has decided to acquire an existing building in Kägiswil near to both the LEISTER factories to adequately extend the capacities on a short-term basis.

Leister Process Technologies intends to accommodate the whole company administration, Research and Development as well as Marketing Departments with generously conceived customer zones, demonstration rooms and Application Laboratories in the new building. The representative building architecture with transparent and light-flooded working spaces provides employees, customers and business partners with optimum working conditions. The acclimatization and ventilation technology is operated without fossil fuels. Apart from the company building in Sarnen, LEISTER Process Technologies now disposes of a further environmentally friendly company building.

The free areas at the Kägiswil location are required for the further extension of the Axetris Microsystems business area. In future, the company building in Sarnen will be further developed as a production location.

With the commissioning of the new company building, LEISTER is investing an eight figure sum in the Obwalden location. After structural adaptations in the inner area as well as installations for the communication infrastructure, the move is planned for the beginning of 2008.
