Mask soldering
Mask soldering is applicable for very sensitive substrates or for those which strongly absorb laser beams. The laser only passes through openings in the mask and is incident on the circuit substrate only where there is a contact point. The areas between the contact points are not radiated and therefore there is no damage to the substrate.
