Quasi-Simultaneous Welding

Two scanner mirrors deflect the point-shaped laser beam and guide it along the welding contour at very high speed.

The joining surface is scanned several times per second, whereby the laser beam heats and plasticizes the entire weld seam simultaneously. Shaped part tolerances can be melted off and form a welding bead because the two parts to be joined are pressed together during the welding process.

Characteristics and application:

  • point-shaped laser beam
  • Lots of flexibility
  • Bridges gaps
  • Suitable for small batches and mass production
