Internship/Master Thesis - MEMS based Infrared Sources 100% (m/f)
Characterization of the electrical and thermal behavior of MEMS-based infrared sources (microelectromechanicalsystems), among other things by using thermography
FE modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics: static/dynamic simulation of the electrical, thermal, mechanical and optical behavior of novel infrared sources
Conceptual design, realization and documentation of measurement setups
Construction and assembly of test samples, including wire bonding
Master student ETH/EPFL (m/f) in physics or engineering sciences
Initial experience in the field of microtechnology is an advantage
Systematic working method, initiative and solution orientation
Very good German and/or English skills
