Hungarian guests at Leister Technologies AG
Many of us associate Hungary with the beautiful capital Budapest, the huge Lake Balaton, good food with lots of paprika, and friendly people. While these are fascinating parts of Hungary, they're only a small segment of this beautiful country. Even in times of the Iron Curtain, Hungary was progressive and economically successful. A lot has happened since then, including Hungary becoming a member of the European Union, which has contributed to the country's continued development. Whenever something new is created, produced, and repaired, LEISTER equipment and machines are there to assist the countries growth.
Experience new products where they are developed
In order to experience new products and let the spark of enthusiasm spread, personal encounters, exchange of experience and know-how at Leister in Switzerland are of central importance for successful cooperation with our partners.
Roland Beeler explains future functionalities of a device type for semi-automatic welding on the roof
We have been working very successfully with the LEISTER distributor Haberkorn from Budapest for many years, which has resulted in many valuable and long-lasting, customer relationships.
Since Hungary is close by, our Hungarian customers do not often visit Switzerland. This made the visit to Leister Technologies AG in Kägiswil and Sarnen very special, which included the attendance of several, interesting programs related to various business lines.
Production tour and LEISTER product innovations
Our Hungarian customers were particularly interested in a tour of our production facilities in Sarnen and Kägiswil and in LEISTER's new products.
Thomas Furrer shows the GEOSTAR
Thomas Furrer, Head of Business Line Geo, Daniel Schmid, Head of Business Line Technical Textiles & Industrial Fabrics and Roland Beeler, Head of Business Line Plastic Fabrication, Roofing & Flooring were actively involved in the organisation of the programme and presented new products of their business lines.
Customers were pleased with the opportunity to try out and test newly developed devices. Unfortunately, rain showers arrived, which led to cancellation of the roof installation and inspection on a modern building site. Besides the bad weather, two eventful and successful days were marked by know-how exchange, interesting discussions, and a good atmosphere.
