New EU regulations ban solvent welding
LEISTER offers an alternative with hot air welding
Due to new legislation in some European countries, homogeneous hot air welding is mandatory. Solvent welding and adhesive tapes are no longer allowed! Sub-roof membranes are required for additional protection underneath slope roof shingles. Both welding types (from bottom to top and from top to bottom) are very easily achieved. Welding is possible in both directions, upwards and downwards. Thanks to an optimized wedge geometry, even thin membranes (0.3–1.0 mm) can be welded perfectly. Typical applications: Welding of sub-roofs, which have either been prefabricated at the factory, or are intended for welding outdoors.
