Senior Application Software Engineer
Your main tasks
In this newly created position, after a thorough introduction, you will take over the technical lead of the further development and maintenance of application-oriented software for laser gas detectors which are used in various industries such as medical technology, industrial environment or environmental protection. Together with the development department you will revise current architectures to meet future sensor generations. In doing so, you will configure and test the software with the end customer in mind, while ensuring the interface to production. You will identify, analyze and document the necessary requirements so that you can ensure cross-divisional cooperation as a competent contact person.
Your profile
We are looking for an analytical and structured personality with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or computer science with sound programming skills in C, C++, C#, Python. You will be able to use your knowledge of agile software development with Jira and Bitbucket.
