Product Designer
To strengthen our product design team, we are looking for an independent and innovative personality who will design our high-quality Leister products of tomorrow from an ergonomic and design point of view.
Your Tasks
- Design, visualization and elaboration of products according to aesthetic, ergonomic and economic considerations
- Conception of solutions for products using analog and digital tools, including sketches, mood boards, rapid prototyping (model making, clay modeling, 3D printing)
- Collaboration in project teams and the product design team
- Product development projects from ideation to elaboration following innovation process.
- Identifying specific market needs of new products in terms of functional and user-oriented aspects
- Recognizable implementation of Leister brand values in product design
Your Profile
- Professional experience in the field of product development and design (1-3 years desirable)
- Practical skills in sketching, clay modeling and model making
- Mastery of Adobe programs, rendering (Keyshot)
- Good CAD skills with focus on surface modeling (SolidEdge)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially in the field of plastics for small and medium-sized series production
- Very good German and good English knowledge in word and writing
