The Leister seam weld tester is used for non-destructive overlap weld testing on thermoplastic membranes made of e.g. PVC, TPO etc. These are used, among other things, for sealing flat and pitched roofs. The special shape of the probe tip of the Leister seam weld tester makes even more efficient testing possible. The membrane is not damaged during testing. The ergonomic wooden handle of the Leister seam weld tester fits comfortably in the hand and is therefore ideally suited for lengthy tests.
