Administrative Assistant

Swiss certified administrative assistants take on the various activities that are essential for all companies: You write letters, reports and contracts in your native language, as well as foreign languages, create reports, develop concepts, advise customers, make arrangements with suppliers, clarify, buy and organize the accounts, compile statistical data, etc.

What Will You Learn with Us as an Administrative Assistant?

During your training, you will be actively involved in all departments, from logistics and procurement to sales and financial accounting.

You will get to know our different processes by spending time in the various departments. You will gain insight into the entire process and see how our devices are transformed from an individual component into a finished product.

During your training, you will also be stationed at the telephone in the reception area to provide information in various languages. You will be representing the Leister group as the first point of contact.

Prerequisites

 

  • Good grades, high school diploma or equivalent
  • Good computer skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Training Duration

Basic training as a Swiss certified administrative assistant takes three years and finishes with a Swiss Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.

Your three-year training program will align with your school schedule so that you are able to combine the theoretical and practical elements of the course. At the end of your studies, you will be in an ideal position to successfully enter the job market thanks to the skills you have learned during your training.
