Development Engineer Electronics 80-100%

To strengthen our Product Engineering Team for the area of Industrial Applications at Leister Technologies AG, we are looking for a project-oriented and highly motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility.

The Industrial Applications department is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative, high-quality technical products and technologies in the industrial environment, particularly in the areas of process heat and infrared technologies.


Your tasks

  • Development of electronic assemblies and embedded software (e.g., power and control electronics, new heating technologies, communication interfaces)
  • Project and sub-project management for assigned product projects, from idea to product launch according to the innovation process
  • Support for the production and assembly of functional samples, prototypes, and initial series.
  • Product acceptance through device and system tests including EMC measurements in our laboratory 
  • Joint responsibility for the proper and timely execution of conformity assessments according to project requirements, guidelines, standards, and laws
  • Creation of the necessary device and development documentation
  • Support in product maintenance and continuous improvement of existing solutions

 

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics, control engineering, or related fields (FH, ETH) 
  • Knowledge in circuit development and/or software development (C) in a cost-sensitive environment
  • very good ECAD user skills (Altium Designer) and ideally experienced in working with ERP systems (SAP)
  • lnitial experience in project management (SCRUM, Agile-Hybrid Methodology)
  • very high quality orientation, enjoyment in developing innovations in an interdisciplinary team
  • very good German and good English skills in spoken and written
