Production & Automation Engineer

For the SCM & Operations division, we are looking for a strong implementer who will support us in introducing intelligent material flow/production concepts, automation, and the industrialization of new products, and who will contribute to continuing the company's successful history.

 

Your Task

• Implementing transformations in our various production areas (mechanical processing, welding, electronics, engine construction, preliminary and final assembly) with a focus on digitalization.
• Supporting the introduction of new production and selecting suitable production concepts.
• Acting as a sparring partner for the Vice President of Supply Chain Management with direct reporting and close cooperation with managers and employees at all levels.
• Inspiring colleagues to implement changes and providing practical support on the shop floor.
• Supporting the introduction of SAP S4H and the further development of the S&OP process.

 

Your Profile

• Completed degree at ETH or FH level in engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills (including programming skills) combined with a hands-on mentality.
• Ability to engage and inspire employees from different departments and levels.
• Networked thinking and a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Initial experience in the areas of automation and digitalization is a major advantage.
• Very good English skills.
