Senior Accountant / Team Leader

For our Finance & Controlling department we are looking for a committed and resilient person with several years of qualified experience in accounting in the industrial production environment. 

Your Tasks

  • Team Leader Accounting of the Swiss companies of the Leister Group: 
    o Professional and personnel management of the 5-person team
       (two headcount general ledger and three headcount in the accounts receivable / accounts payable   
       shared service centre) 
    o Coordination and overall supervision of accounting for the four Group companies in Switzerland
    o In this role, you will report directly to the Group CFO

  • Responsible for the individual financial statements of Leister Technologies AG
    o Independent management of the general ledger and monitoring of the sub-ledgers
    o Monthly financial statements and reporting to the Group
       (in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations)
    o Cost centre and project reporting as well as divisional reporting and
       project reporting as well as divisional accounting
    o Maintaining fixed asset accounting
    o Intercompany reconciliation with sister companies
    o Preparing VAT accounting for the Group declaration
    o Assisting with the annual budgeting
    o Contact for auditing

  • Continuous improvement/optimisation of processes and cooperation within the team.

Your Profile

  • Proven expert in your field (in a managerial position is an advantage) with a solid theoretical education with FA
  • Confidence in closing deals, several years of qualified experience in a similar function in an international production environment (hands-on)
  • Sound ERP knowledge and high IT affinity
  • SAP implementation experience is an advantage
  • Experience with the preparation of financial reports and presentation of results
  • Excellent communication skills and team player with an independent, reliable and service-oriented way of working and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Fluent German and good English skills are an advantage
