Social Media Manager
Your Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing and E-Commerce within our global Digital Marketing & E-Commerce team, the Social Media Manager is responsible for crafting and executing innovative social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive targeted outcomes. This hands-on role involves managing content creation, monitoring trends, and analyzing performance to optimize the brand's social media presence.
Your Tasks
- Comprehensive Strategy: Develop further and execute social media strategies for various platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok
- Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content that aligns with brand voice and audience interests.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze social media metrics to understand performance and make data-driven adjustments.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with social media trends and tools, applying best practices to strategies.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Scheduling Management: Manage social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize audience engagement.
- Channel Optimization: Monitor and analyze channel performance and KPIs to continually refine and optimize strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive digital customer journey.
- CRM Management Oversight: Oversee the daily operations and activities of two CRM Data Assistants, ensuring accurate and efficient management of customer data, in proactive coordination with the HQ.
- Continuous Improvement: Promotion and implementation of the continuous improvement process (CIP) within the area of responsibility.
Your Profile
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fields
- Experience: Proven track record in social media management, content creation, and strategic planning.
- Skills: Expertise in social media platforms, analytics tools, content creation (visual storytelling, copywriting), and brand management.
- Characteristics: Independent, capable of managing multiple projects, creative, with strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CMS, web publishing, Microsoft Office; agile project management knowledge, with Jira and Confluence experience being advantageous.
