Simultaneous Welding

In this process, the entire weld seam is heated simultaneously by one or more lasers.

Most of these are high-power diode lasers because of their compact design. Linear weld seams can be produced with ease. Almost any beam shape can be created by means of beam shaping elements.

Characteristics and application:

  • Short process time
  • No relative movement
  • Gap bridging possible
  • Suitable for mass production
