Greenland is a unique island on our planet that fascinates many people with its exposed climate and endless ice landscapes. It is home to several, important climate and artic research stations and current climate debates made it an ideal starting point for an expedition.

Christiane Leister had the opportunity to organize and lead an expedition to Greenland last year. The idea developed in collaboration with the Swiss Ambassador of Denmark. Participants of the interdisciplinary expedition group were comprised of outstanding personalities from the fields of research, science, politics, diplomacy and art.

In effort to share the experiences, conclusions and impressions gained by the participants, the Leister Foundation has published a book (in English) about the expedition.
