Stadler Rail: precision on rails – and on the ground
Stadler Deutschland develops and builds new vehicles for German and European rail transportation. Modern subway trains are produced in Berlin – for Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), among others. The company has been using Leister welding technology for over 30 years to install flexible floor coverings that are permanently sealed, hygienic, and mechanically resilient.
In action: reliable technology for precise welding seams
In production, Stadler relies on a wide range of Leister devices – optimally matched to the respective requirements in floor construction:
- UNIFLOOR 500: Floor welding machine for consistently clean welding seams on PVC and rubber flooring.
- MINIFLOOR DRIVE UNIT & EASYFLOOR: Extensions for Leister hand-held devices that become compact semi-automatic machines – perfect for confined spaces.
- TRIAC AT & ST with speed welding nozzle: For manual precision work in corners and curves.
- GROOVER 500-LP (Cordless groove cutter): Lightweight, ergonomic, and ideal for pre-milling joints – cordless and flexible.
The materials processed – including rubber flooring up to 3.1 mm thick and 2 mm PVC flooring – demand the highest precision and devices that work consistently and reliably, even under the toughest conditions.
