More control for industrial roofs thanks to digital documentation

In recent months, the new Gebrüder Weiss logistics and IT center has been completed in Wolfurt, Austria. FPO waterproofing membranes were professionally installed on 24,000 m² of roof surface – with a special bonus: the digital welding protocol of the Leister VARIMAT 700. In cooperation with Haberkorn as Leister equipment supplier, Sika Austria as material supplier and contractor Rathgeb - Dachdeckerei & Spenglerei in Rauris, the logistics center in Wolfurt was sealed and thermally welded.

Skepticism overcome, quality gained

Initially, there was reluctance on the construction site to log the welding seams – too time-consuming, too complex? Thanks to targeted device training and the intuitive operation of the myLeister roofing app, this skepticism was quickly banished. Soon it was clear: The digital log is not an additional expense, but represents true added value.

Transparent traceability – from start to finish

The GPS-based welding log provides precise information on welding length, temperature, speed, air volume, and position – clearly documented data that can be called up at any time. This means that contractors, material manufacturers and building owners benefit equally from controlled quality and transparent implementation.
