Our belief in the reliability of our products is so strong that we offer you a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years for your Leister product. This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to the statutory rights you have as an end customer against the seller in your country.

Note: Without registration, the mandatory legal warranty rights apply according to the applicable law in your country. These must generally be asserted against the seller/dealer.

Purchase a new Leister product from an authorized distributor (not exhaustively listed at www.leister.com/Services/Sales-and-Service-Points).
Create a Leister customer profile at www.leister.com/myAccount if you do not already have one.
Enter the 10-digit serial number of the product in the customer profile under the “Devices” tab.
Follow the process steps until warranty registration and upload the purchase receipt.
Safe the confirmation email.

To register for the 5-year warranty, the following conditions must be met:

Purchase of a Leister branded product (devices and machines) from an authorized Leister distribution partner.
Completion of the online registration within 30 days after the purchase date.
Agreement to the 5-year warranty conditions.
Regular maintenance according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Note: Without registration, the statutory warranty or a basic warranty of 12 months applies.

What does the warranty cover?

Material and manufacturing defects that occur despite proper use and maintenance. If your Leister product has a defect during the warranty period, we will ensure that the defect is repaired free of charge and that your Leister product functions properly again.

Which products are covered by the 5-year warranty?

The voluntary warranty applies to all Leister products purchased through authorized distributors and registered online within 30 days of purchase.
To register for the voluntary warranty extension, you will need the 10-digit serial number, the item number and the proof of purchase. Excluded are items listed under the section “Products excluded from the voluntary guarantee”.

Which products are excluded from the voluntary warranty?

Leister products that do not have a ten-digit serial number (LABOR S, DIODE S, HOT JET S, FORTE S3), cannot be registered and are therefore excluded from the voluntary warranty. In addition, the following products are excluded from the voluntary 5-year warranty. These products can still be added to your existing product portfolio for device management in the Leister customer profile.

What happens to my information during the warranty validation?

Your data will be processed in accordance with the privacy agreement. For warranty validation, you can redact the prices and payment method (these will not be evaluated). The invoice will not be stored; the information will only remain at the level of the validation results.

Is the warranty extension transferable?

No, the warranty is valid exclusively for the original purchaser and expires upon resale.

When does the claim expire?

Wear parts are excluded from the warranty. The claim also expires if the product has been improperly installed, repaired, used, or modified – whether by you or third parties. Repairs or modifications may only be carried out by a company of the Leister Group or a certified Leister service partner. Otherwise, we cannot grant the warranty.

What should be considered during maintenance?

Regular maintenance according to the operating instructions is mandatory. Maintenance work that requires opening the device may only be performed by authorized service centers.

Does the warranty extend after a repair or replacement?

No, the warranty period remains at 5 years from the date of first purchase and is not extended by repair or replacement. Components replaced under warranty are subject to the mandatory statutory warranty rights under the applicable law in your country. These must generally be asserted against the seller/dealer.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Required are proof of purchase, serial number, description of the fault, and maintenance records. The warranty claim must be reported in writing to the authorized sales outlet where the device or machine was purchased. The shipping costs for sending in are to be borne by the customer.
