The voluntary warranty applies to all Leister products purchased through authorized distributors and registered online within 30 days of purchase.
To register for the voluntary warranty extension, you will need the 10-digit serial number, the item number and the proof of purchase. Excluded are items listed under the section “Products excluded from the voluntary guarantee”.
Leister products that do not have a ten-digit serial number (LABOR S, DIODE S, HOT JET S, FORTE S3), cannot be registered and are therefore excluded from the voluntary warranty. In addition, the following products are excluded from the voluntary 5-year warranty. These products can still be added to your existing product portfolio for device management in the Leister customer profile.

Wear parts are excluded from the warranty. The claim also expires if the product has been improperly installed, repaired, used, or modified – whether by you or third parties. Repairs or modifications may only be carried out by a company of the Leister Group or a certified Leister service partner. Otherwise, we cannot grant the warranty.
Regular maintenance according to the operating instructions is mandatory. Maintenance work that requires opening the device may only be performed by authorized service centers.
No, the warranty period remains at 5 years from the date of first purchase and is not extended by repair or replacement. Components replaced under warranty are subject to the mandatory statutory warranty rights under the applicable law in your country. These must generally be asserted against the seller/dealer.
Required are proof of purchase, serial number, description of the fault, and maintenance records. The warranty claim must be reported in writing to the authorized sales outlet where the device or machine was purchased. The shipping costs for sending in are to be borne by the customer.
