Whether large, small, with sugar, milk or foamed milk, black and strong, traditionally at home, at work, on the go or consumed in a café. Coffee is the second most common consumed drink after water worldwide. Read this blog post to find out what connects PROBAT, Leister and coffee.

Incidentally, the smallest roaster from PROBAT (image source: © PROBAT) is the laboratory roaster. It is always used when the coffee beans are tested before purchase, new recipes are developed and new coffee mixtures are created. This small roaster can accommodate a maximum of 200 g/7.05 oz of coffee beans. Leister is heated with hot air, produced by the globally proven and compact MISTRAL 6 SYSTEM air heater.
The electrical heating system from Leister consists of a blower, the LE 10000 DF-C Leister air heater and a temperature sensor for controlling the system. The entire unit is designed so that it can be mounted in the P05 Drum Roaster in place of the gas heating. The picture shows the electrical heating system already installed. The air heater is visually highlighted.
With the P05 e Drum Roaster (image source: © PROBAT), PROBAT has succeeded in developing the first shop drum roaster, which can be operated in the same way as a gas-heated roaster and provides repetitively identical roasting results. A milestone in the development of electrically heated drum roasters with a batch size of 5 kg/11 lbs.
