Hot air provides a highly flexible way of controlling all kinds of heating processes. Hot air generated by air heaters or hot-air blowers is blown over the material that is to be heated. The energy in the air is transferred to the material, causing it to heat up. This convective heat transfer process takes place without any contact. Therefore, it really helps protect the material. What's more, the air does not leave any debris or residue behind on the surface of the material, which makes it very clean. It is not generally necessary to perform any subsequent cleaning processes.
As a result, hot air is a very easy and flexible option for heating. The desired temperature can be set very precisely by selecting process parameters such as the heating power and air volume.
